And this is the man they honored and said was a great judge. Balderdash! This is the man who was part of the George Hanson scandals. One of the great judges of our nation according to one Idaho Senator. Again Balderdash! Anyone who believes this is uninformed. I have zero respect for this judge!
At the direction of an out of control power hungry Judge specifically and an irresponsible political system in " cover your ass " mode generally, Congressman Hansen was subject to some of the most heinous and barbaric torture known to humanity such as " diesel therapy ".
A description of diesel therapy as found in the Oregon Observer by Edward Snook is as follows : A prisoner is shackled at the feet and handcuffed at the wrists, reinforced with a box-like structure which stiffens the chains and locks the wrists at a 90 degree angle.
Once done the prisoner can barely move. The nerves are pinched and restrict the flow of blood because of the tightened manacles. This causes severe pain and swelling. The feet and toenails become damaged because of the legs swelling from the blood. Blood blisters form due to the pressure and if they press up against shoes for long periods of time can they cause such excruciating pain that they require surgery or the pulling out of the toenails by the roots. George Hansen had to take his own toenails out himself because he was in such pain.
Now you may not know how the term " diesel therapy " originated. It is not for the bondage part but for being forced into bus after bus and plane after plane and shackled as described above and being shuttled from one prison to another for weeks on end, 20 hours per day in chains to cause pain and suffering and to " send a message "!
Judge Lodge furthermore saw to it that Congressman Hanson received diesel therapy coming and going to prison from the Judges' court and I might add, at great expense to the government.
For a month he disappeared and his wife and family did not know if he was dead or alive nor did his allies in Congress! After four years of imprisonment and ten years of being persecuted and to top it off ruined professionally and personally, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals vacated his sentence for bank fraud in Dec. 1995. This all due to the fact that in May 1995 the Supreme Court had ruled that his previous conviction as a member of Congress had been overturned. The worse part was he was physically damaged permanently. He was America's most famous political prisoner. And what did he do to deserve all of this ?
Congressman Hansen was the prime architect of the Congressional Accountability Project which was being launched by Hansen and a group of investors interested in good government. CAP was going to utilize nation-wide television and a national 900 number to make congresspersons instantaneously accountable to the American people for their votes on the House and Senate floors".
"This was a project which would, in my opinion, have had a major impact on the votes of congressmen since it would have made them instantaneously responsible to the people by making their votes known immediately after being cast," commented journalist John Voss.
Congressman Hansen and his Congressional allies were on the verge of making CAP fully operational and accessible to the American public when the government, through the Idaho Department of Finance with the illegal help of former IRS agents, a revenge-minded Justice Department and the corrupt Judge Lodge, manufactured bank fraud charges against him".
Do you see why this might happen? He had to be stopped. Congresspersons would be instantly accountable to the American people for their votes. Wow! Now that would not be so good in the eyes of many. He was now the enemy! Anybody who has the accomplishments of Congressman Hansen as described below and wanted to pass this sort of legislation and had the political will and muscle to do it would ALWAYS make low enemies in high places.
From the Quixote's Horse comes the following information:
George Hansen was the only member of Congress able to pull the strings necessary to visit the hostages in Iran in 1979, exposing the big-bank scam behind that crises.
George Hansen was the author of the book To Harass Our People, an indictment of the IRS, where he demanded its dismantling.
George Hansen was the congressman who was so outraged by what he discovered about the IRS while researching his book that he wrote and helped to pass the Taxpayers Bill of Rights.
George Hansen was the first man to propose the flat tax as a damage control alternative to protect the people from IRS abuses.
Hansen was the man who took on OSHA, WPPSS, and the INS.
George Hansen was the man who fearlessly and repeatedly made public his findings when investigations turned up government corruption and citizen abuse. The "system" decided it had to teach Congressman Hansen a lesson because, had he been allowed to continue serving on Capitol Hill, he would soon likely be the chairman of the powerful House Banking Committee, a fact that history has shown would have happened in 1995.
"Why did Judge Lodge, whose personal reasons for needing to keep the well documented criminal nature of the banking industry below public scrutiny, with the help of the Idaho Department of Finance, trump up a bank fraud conviction"? He denied the admission of exonerating evidence in court!
Could it be that this was in order to throw Hansen in prison and to punish Mr. Hanson with diesel therapy?
Another reason was that Congressman Hansen was getting close to the truth He had accumulated the political power to finally once and for all expose the banking industry and government for deceiving and lying and punishment of the American people?
The Supreme Court admits it should not have happened; that he was wrongly accused. In the late 70s he wrote a book entitled: To Harass Our People!" The Taxpayers Bill of RIghts was passed because of this man. He was the first to introduce the idea of a Flat Tax. You have much to thank him for because without his efforts the IRS would be the equivalent of the Gestapo by now.
His love of his fellow man and desire and reputation for fighting for fairness for all let him roam amongst the other prisoners with no fear. His cruel torture came from the Prison Officials and Federal Marshals. Like the signers of the Constitution he lost his reputation, fortune (he was forced to sell his houses to survive) to pay his fines and attorney. Most everything they had was gone. Indeed he truly knew what it was like to be like our forefathers and sacrifice all!
You protest the inhumane treatment of prisoners of war but overlook something like this. We decry the things that go on in China, and other places and yet, we allowed this in America. What a bunch of hogwash. So you think it can't happen here in America !! Want to make a bet about that! Bury your head in the sand and do nothing and see what happens.
We need to restore accountability to this nation. Our politicians need to have answers as to how and why they do things and why they vote the way they do. No more hiding, no more pussyfooting around and no more excuses! Corruption abounds and we say nothing? Your government is encroaching on your life and is full to the brim with corruption. Speak up or there will come a time when you cannot! If you have any doubts about exactly how your government is capable of treating you I would advise that you ask an American Indian about his / her thoughts on that matter. I suggest that you watch the video below.
